A massive fire broke out at the Vardaman Garment Shop situated in the Central Plaza Complex on Daftari Road, Shivaji Nagar, Dindoshi, Malad East, Mumbai, triggering a prompt response from authorities. Upon noticing the blaze, locals immediately alerted the concerned authorities, leading to the dispatch of 8 fire tenders to the scene. The fire, which engulfed the fifth floor of the eight-story commercial building, erupted on Thursday, March 28. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported thus far, although the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined.

This incident adds to a series of recent fire outbreaks in Maharashtra. On March 22, a coach of the Mumbai-Gorakhpur Godan Express caught fire near Nashik Road Railway Station, prompting emergency measures to control the blaze. Similarly, last month witnessed a dramatic fire incident at the Kalher Prithvi Complex in Bhiwandi, Thane district, where a furniture factory was engulfed in flames, causing significant property damage. Despite the challenges posed by the presence of gas cylinders inside the factory, fire teams worked tirelessly for over 4 hours to extinguish the flames, ultimately preventing casualties or injuries.
